Diana: She did the quiz requiring her to read the paragraph on General vs. Specific Details (1). She went through it twice. She has no trouble whatsoever maneuvering through the WebCT page and knows how to access everything. She did have trouble with content (first round made a 50%), but said that reviewing her answers on the feedback page helped her. She reports no trouble or suggestions so far in doing WebCT work or in the class. She also completed the essay response form on her returned paper and said she found it helpful. (We worked one hour together).
Susan: Susan did just the essay feedback form. She took her time with it but had not technical trouble (only related to computers in general since she’s still just getting familiar). She had some content questions (why was an actual song title more specific than just the word “romantic music,” or more accurately, she wondered why more specific was better—had several questions along these lines.) But in terms of the technology, she did fine. She did have trouble getting into the student papers and responding (there wasn’t time for us to do that together today), but once we were in there, she was fine. (We worked together an hour and fifteen minutes).
