Week 9

Both Ezell and Morales continue to work independently this week. I have spent quite a bit of time making corrections to quizzes and posting new PPT presentations on Ezell’s class website.

This week I began working with Lynn Woods, an adjunct Developmental instructor who has expressed interest (for several years) in learning the electronic pedagogy. I helped Lynn set up her class website, which is based on the English 189 template that was developed as part of our SPECC grant. I taught Lynn the fundamentals of using the website, and she will return in two weeks for another lesson. She is quite excited about launching her first website next semester.

Two other adjunct instructors have expressed a similar interest in learning about the electronic pedagogy, as have two of our new full-time hires in the English Division. It may be time to offer another campus workshop. I will plan this for the spring semester.
